Pvt. Edwin A. Martin, Co. G. honored in Academy Cemetery, Canandaigua, New York. Died and buried on July 4, 1862, at Savage Station, Virginia, from wounds received at Gaines’s Mill, Va. Savage Station has since fallen under Confederate control. Honored in cemetery since body was never brought home.
